How many people can fly in the balloon?
Depending on the balloon, the basket carries 2 to 12 passengers plus the pilot. Our largest balloons take up to 19 passengers.
Can children take part in the flight?
Yes, from 4 years old, as long as they can see over the edge of the basket and stand for the whole flight without help.
How high do you fly?
Usually between 300 and 1,000 metres, depending on the weather and local regulations.
How long does a flight last?
The flight lasts from 40 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the weather and the pilot's choices. The whole experience, from pickup to return, takes the morning.
Is it cold on board?
The air is cooler at altitude, even though the burners warm the basket a little. Dress in several layers.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes in layers, closed shoes, a hat or cap, sunglasses and sun cream.
What will I see from the balloon?
Around Marrakech: the Palmeraie, Berber villages, desert plains and the peaks of the Atlas. Every flight is different, depending on the wind.
Safety
Are balloon flights safe?
Yes, when safety rules are strictly followed and the equipment is carefully maintained. Our pilots are trained, certified and experienced.
How do the pilots keep the flight safe?
They check the equipment before every flight, study the weather forecast and watch the conditions throughout the flight.
What is the landing like?
The pilot gradually reduces the heat in the envelope and steers the basket towards an open area. Expect a slight bump when you touch the ground.
What happens in bad weather?
Heavy rain, strong wind or extreme cold: the flight is postponed or cancelled. The pilot decides based on accurate forecasts.
Are there any medical restrictions?
You must be able to climb in and out of the basket without much help. If you have heart, breathing or mobility problems, see your doctor before booking.
Payment and cancellation
How do I pay for my flight?
Payment is made on the day of the flight, in dirhams, euros, pounds sterling or US dollars.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The price shown when you book is the total amount to pay.

Yes, on the VIP and royal flights from 3 people. Contact us for a quote.
What happens if the flight is cancelled because of the weather?
We cancel the day before if the forecast is bad and offer you another date. If a new date is not possible, you are refunded 100%.
If local conditions prevent take-off on the morning itself, we serve you the Moroccan breakfast and refund 100% of the flight.
What if I cancel myself?
A cancellation less than 24 hours before the flight, or not showing up at the meeting time confirmed the day before, is charged in full.
