Which season is best?
There is no bad season: we fly all year round. To see the snow-capped Atlas peaks, come between December and March. For a less early start, winter is ideal, as long as you wrap up warm. For mild weather, choose spring or autumn. In summer the flight takes place in the cool of the morning, well before the heat.
Can the weather cancel the flight?
Yes. Strong wind and rain stop balloons from flying in any season. We cancel the day before if the forecast is bad and offer you another date or a 100% refund. Our tip: book your flight early in your stay, so you keep spare days for a new date.
What to wear in each season
- Winter: a warm jacket, a hat and gloves for the wait at dawn.
- Spring and autumn: several layers you can take off after sunrise.
- Summer: light clothes and a jumper for the early start.
- All year: closed shoes, a cap and sunglasses.
